Our researchers presented in a workshop the latest advances in ethical video-monitoring of persons in private spaces, with fun activities and information about the results of visuAAL MSCA Innovative Training Network and GoodBrother COST Action. In the future Our next events Conference on Gerontechnology The University of Alicante will host the 1st Symposium on Gerontechnology, a multidisciplinary meeting that aims to establish a dynamic forum where Spanish researchers seek solutions that promote active and healthy ageing and establish research collaborations at the national and European level. III Doctoral Seminar (29 November to 1 December). An event designed to discuss the research advances of our researchers in their different areas of expertise. During this event, researchers will present and discuss their current research, allowing for critical evaluation and valuable feedback from experts in their respective fields. FEBRUARY, 27-29 ViBRANT workshop at VISAPP2024 Exploring the Future of Video-Based Assistive and Active Living (AAL) Some of visuAAL's ESRs organise the ViBRANT Workshop, as part of the VISAPP2024 Conference, the 19th International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications. This event will focus on real-world applications in care settings. the workshop emphasises the importance of combining technological advances with user studies, legal considerations and the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
